Genesis 13:10 (KJV)
10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.
Lot began looking …
Lot’s problem started with what he was looking at
Be careful about what you allow to get your attention.
Lot was not careful.
Genesis 14:12 (KJV)
12 And they took Lot, Abram’s brother’s son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.
Next Lot began to live there….
Eventually, you will start living where you have been looking
So be careful about what you are looking at
Genesis 19:1 (KJV)
1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
Lot was lifted up there…
He became a partner with the world.
When you find pleasure in the fellowship of the world, you will soon find yourself a partner with the world.
Lot lingered because:
We are always slow to obey God when entangled with the world.

- What has your attention today?
Lot lost a lot, but he did not have to, and neither do you!
