Navigating between Christian Liberty and Legalism

As we discussed in Episode 2, We are not bound by the law for righteousness sake; however this does not mean that we are free to do whatever we want.  The Apostle Paul stated in, 1 Corinthians 6:12 and again in 1 Corinthians 10:21-23, that All things are now lawful, but not all things will advance you in your relationship with the Lord, or help to build up your faith.  He states that even though all things are lawful, that he won’t be brought under the power of any.

Christian Liberty is not a license to Sin

Christian liberty is the freedom to allow the Lord direct our paths, instead of following some Huge list of rules and regulations.  The Holy Spirit which resides in every Born Again Believer (Romans 8:9-, But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.) will show us what we ought to do.
